Seasoned Industry Professionals Join TITAN Aerospace Insurance’s Expanding National Team.

DALLAS, TX (July 10, 2025) – TITAN Aerospace Insurance (TAI), a wholly owned subsidiary of TITAN Aviation Fuels, is pleased to announce the addition of Dana Smith and Camille Knight to its growing team of aviation insurance professionals. Both hires will report to Jason Hendrix, President of Retail.

Dana Smith joins the Dallas office with more than 25 years of insurance and risk management experience, including 16 years specializing in the aviation sector. Her high-level account executive expertise spans a wide range of aviation placements, including Fixed Base Operators (FBOs), MROs, airports, commercial aircraft fleets, and complex aircraft operations. Dana also brings deep insight into emerging aviation risks, with particular experience in space, satellite, and launch vehicle exposures. She is a recipient of the 2019 Risk & Insurance Aviation Power Broker Award and will be a valuable addition to the Dallas team.

Camille Knight, who joins the Atlanta office, brings 13 years of aviation insurance experience, working across both the wholesale and retail brokerage sectors. Her well-rounded background gives her a comprehensive understanding of the aviation insurance marketplace. Camille is recognized for her strong relationships with aviation underwriters, exceptional client management skills, and expertise as an account executive. She holds the Certified Aviation Insurance Professional (CAIP) designation and is a strategic addition to the Atlanta team.

Mr. Wagner brings with him over 20 years of commercial aviation insurance underwriting and program administration experience with some of the most respected names in the aviation insurance marketplace, including AIG and Old Republic Aerospace. He is a 1996 graduate of the University of Georgia’s Risk Management and Insurance program. He was part of the original team at TITAN Specialty Markts where he currently holds responsibility for overseeing TITAN’s carrier relations and placement strategy.

Michael Clark has over 20 years of insurance industry experience almost all of it spent as a senior executive within the aviation and aerospace sector. He has served as the Head of the Aviation and Aerospace Business Unit at QBE where he and his team founded the Aviation Division in 2011, in a 50/50 Joint Venture with QBE’s Aerospace Syndicate at Lloyd’s of London, and quickly turned the business unit into one of the largest and most profitable underwriters in the global aviation insurance marketplace. Prior to QBE, he served for 10 years as a Senior Vice President at Old Republic Aerospace, where he led the Special Risk Division, overseeing a multidisciplinary team and a portfolio of specialty aerospace business in excess of $50,000,000 USD in annual revenue. He is a former U.S. Marine and an aviation enthusiast.
